Our gas went high, when our employment rate was going up, when the income was not coming in. The gas prices seemed to have been the last straw. Yes going from $1 a gallon to almost $5 when out gas rates have never jumped up that quickly is a shock.

@ojideagu because at the time we went from about $1 a gallon to $5 in less than a month, imagine if you gas went up five times the amount it was before u would bitch too

@harroc83 its only a shock to the uneducated. its no shock if you understand oil which clearly you didn't, because poor little you 'are not used to paying such prices' as if that makes it okay haha. And btw it wasn't a $4 increase in a month.....laugh you can't even get that single stat right how to you ever to expect to understand something as complex as oil, its industry, its prices, and then finally how all of that effects the price @ the pump. Its not shocking to anyone, only certain.
