@INDIANBLANKET I had a wee black and white tele about four inches by three over twenty years ago that worked on batteries - also had a radio and an alarm clock. Had really good reception - for all of the few channels we had then.... So yes, plausible to have a black and white tele without electricity.

Love Blackadder but I am all for Fawlty Towers by a small margin...

@Christopher80611A good number of years have passed. In Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007), his latest film on one of his well known characters, he actually had to dye his hair and his age showed a lot. He's filming a sequal to Johnny English, which will be release in 2011.
