Awesome parrot! I've got an African Grey and a Hahn's Macaw and your bird has more vocabulary than both!
amazing you should be so proud. i love your bird/s
she was VERY interested at 2:21 when you said "BRRRIIING....HELLO". I love how she turned right back around when you said it.
No problem. I have done a lot of research on these beautiful creatures lately. I am getting a baby Blue Fronted Amazon at the end of July, I can't wait. :)
Sorry...one more thing. When Lollie does all that cute stuff, it makes me want to grab her and smooch on her...whilst dodging that serious beak. Thanks very much for posting!!
I think the biggest most important observation about parrots I know, is that they're quite creatures of habit, like us. Whatever you do to/with them regularly is what they come to expect. It's part of how they know you. The more nice experiences you can share with them, the greater the whole experience is. I bicycle with my little lovebird parrot, Peachy...on my shoulder, chirping away. She's a beast. Okay...'bye!
Thanks for the info about the cuddlosity of Amazon's. I should have remembered that it does indeed depend on the situation and the birdy.
I believe she is Yellow Naped Amazon. Although she doesn't have any visible yellow, some have more than others.
Amazons aren't real cuddlers, but it depends on the individual bird.
I hope you'll answer 5005's questions too.
I'm wondering myself how cuddly Lolly is. Not cuddly like a cockatoo, yes?
Purty darn coool...but please, please, next time, put the camera on a camera tripod. If it's worth shooting, it's worth using a tripod...or a table even. Good luck.
This is a blue front amazon, right? How old is she? Can you handle her? I have one that just hates to be held but she'll perform as well. She's a GREAT singer!
I love Lolly! She is just adorable!
Very Cute! I love YNA don't you!! |
